On March 9, 2025, the Sisterhood Foundation (SHF) celebrated International Women’s Day with an inspiring session dedicated to empowerment, resilience, and personal stories of strength. The session featured a special guest, Ms. Rafiya – Admin Director & Psychologist from Anbagam, who shared her real-life experiences with the students.
Ms. Rafiya spoke about the challenges she faced in pursuing education, highlighting her determination and perseverance. Her story served as a powerful testament to the importance of education and self-growth, inspiring the girls to overcome obstacles and pursue their dreams.
As part of the Women’s Day celebration, the students were also encouraged to bring forth the most inspiring woman in their life and share why they look up to her. This activity created a deeply personal and motivating space, where students spoke about mothers, teachers, historical figures, and other role models who have influenced their lives.
The session was a celebration of womanhood, strength, and resilience, reinforcing the importance of supporting and uplifting one another. Through such discussions, SHF continues to provide a platform for young minds to learn, grow, and find inspiration in the stories of real-life changemakers.
